Are Housing Markets Efficient?

Eugene Farmer: Real estate is a huge component of wealth and we have no data on it. He was kind of leaning towards saying that they probably are efficient for these reasons. But I mean, you've already mentioned some of them. There are plenty of reasons to believe a priori that real estate markets would be woefully inefficient.
