When the Klan makes a cross, they wrap it in rags and soak it in kerosene then you set it on fire. That way it burns for quite a while before it goes out. The idea of someone joining the Klan is pretty sinister anyway," he says. "I don't think that they would be too concerned with whether it's done with a cross that has Christmas lights stuck around it"
