There's just a lot of takeaway in that it's don't wait for something to fall in your lap. And I've always been a proponent as well. Your resume, you know, is just what you share. It's the story that you decide to tell.

Cassie McDaniel inspires us to get away from the ‘pick me’ mindset, and to pick ourselves. She challenges us to be willing to kill our darlings so that something better can emerge.
