Is It a Tough Problem?
As as you get the finer, fier scale structure, there's more variability. It becomes more random, like columns seen random to some degree and so and there might be a principle of brain organization comes out of that. No one asks me whether the topography in this erorafim is the same across all your monkeys - I just want to know if we can find an answer for why it differs from person to person. We need to be open minded and say, let's be surprised how the structure is and how consistent it is across subjects.
