The Difficult Life of an AIDS Patient

There's not really a way to describe how scary the AIDS crisis was and how demonized AIDS patients were up through the mid 90s. The 80s, it was like actual one of the most strange social phenomena I ever hope to see in the sense of demonized, ignored people treated like they were already dead when they weren't. And then the 90s, there were a few things. There was a kid named Ryan White where people said, this is a kid, any sick, and what are we doing? But also strangely enough for people who now know MTV only as a place of like weird reality show programming and clip shows, there wasn't a season of the real world.
