There is a greater cultural acknowledgment of the essential nature of work that's been traditionally sort of underpaid and undervalued. This particular measure has national implications for everybody who usehs ubre lift and doordash, which are the companies that are most affected by it. The debate as to whether gig workers should be full time employees and get a bunch of rights and benefits,. or whether they should be independent contractors.
