Myers looks at conditions following the revolution in America. He says neither feelings nor interests of the worker were thought of by government. The property class was alert in its own interest, so it proceeded to entrench itself in politicall as well as financial power. Myers: Since laws favoured the propertyed interests, it was correspondingly easy for them to get direct control of govern functions and personally exercised them.
