Physical constraints are the primary method of systemic security. I cannot stake s t a k e. We're not beating up the red meat steake is real, but it's this imagined consensus mechanism that does not ground out in physical reality. And so you can trace back the the act of humans believing or using abtractions be up long before people call it at stake. You can trace the beginning of when humans started doing this, back to the emergence of agrarian society and all the conditions which fell into place before humans started going to mass war against each other.
