Greg Jenner is the historian behind TV's Horrible Histories and BBC Radio 4 podcast, You're Dead to Me. Today we are travelling back over 3,000 years to ancient Egypt for a snappy history lesson. In the New Kingdom, Egyptians believed in many different gods which were grouped into families. Pharaohs took this idea of being godly pretty seriously - Ramesses II was even shown worshipping himself.
