The Importance of Expertise
I wanted to study expertise and I was already working at TNO so I did my PhD during my work at TNO. So it took a few years longer than the usual four years that we have in the Netherlands for a PhD. The research involved asking people about their world of works you know their expertise which is very different from asking school kids to do an artificial memory task. But yeah kind of hand the end but not really a cognitive well I did some kind of task analysis, one of the chapters in my PhD thesis was a task analysis of what it means to design an experiment.
