The values of the bits in the instruction register are then sent to the control unit, which generates a series ofof control signals. This can include activating tri state buffet devices, or selecting the correct input of a multiplex. The operating system takes over from the process that was currently running from my game. It reads the values of certain registers that w were set beforehand, that tells it what system call it wants to carry out. And then it goes ahead and carries out that system call  which can include reading data from the spe registers that save the import, for example, from the keyboard. That mode of addressing is called address mapping.
