The ego is very, very clever and I can always think that I'm loving when in fact I'm really still comparing myself. It's like in order for me to learn pleasure, I have to experience pain. And if I'm here to learn forgiveness, I'm going to experience being done wrong. In fact, I need people to do me wrong so I can learn that forgiveness. That's right. The one caveat is, it's very easy to fool myself.
