There's some great work also around Alzheimer's. When the hippocampus is starting to be damaged by plaque from Alzheimer's, and we sing with someone, we're still able to call back that very salient autobiographical music because it's been distributed in parts of the brain that are still functioning. And so the brain has these backup systems that are just in amazing. We don't know how all of this works but sadly, you know, we know a lot about sensory systems.
