I think there's tons of issues we want to talk about here today. But I think it's first helpful for us to just say, like, what is the canon and then talk about some of the complexities that arise when we say maybe negotiate what falls into the canon. We're sort of avoiding the rocks in the whirlpool here. There will be things kind of on the periphery of it that, you know, some people will think should be included and some others won't. The Western canon is made up of works that have formed and shaped our our society's imaginations.
