What Are the Factors Outside of Our Control?

Any situation, especially at work is not going to be a hundred percent in your control. The more ashamed that we feel about ourselves, the more grandiose actions are going to be. How do you measure what percentage of progress you're making on being a loser? What's reasonable for someone who has accomplished over the last month?
