The Fringes of Philosophy of Science

Richard Dawkins is making philosophical points using scientific premises, but the scientific premises are not being used in the correct way. He makes arguments using Darwinism, and he doesn't justify it philosophically. And that is the real issue here. There are a lot of scientists. But again, a lot of philosophers, they are not involved in these debates. So these are fringes. In my interaction, at least, I haven't found that they are literate when it comes to philosophy of science. Scientists really don't need to be. Well, they do need to be, if they're going to be making philosophical arguments using science,. which is what Richard Dawkins does.
