The Best Place in the World

Morioka has seen bookings increase since the article came out. With its traditional buildings and three famous noodle dishes, it's a good few hours drive. I consider myself very well traveled in Japan from basically Tokyo. And unfortunately, I don't know why I just never made it up to Tohoku. We were looking at a very nice picture of modern buildings, but with a beautiful mountain backdrop.
