Is There a Slowdown in LDI in the UK?
The Bank of Japan estimates that the 10 year JGB would be around 75 85 80 basis points if there was no YCC. So so if Japan had changed its policy, global fixed income could have been de anchored a year ago. Does this mean, perversely, that you end up with yields higher for longer because there isn't some sort of trigger that causes some sort of monetary policy to step in higher for longer? Yeah, exactly. We saw that for a long time. And we're all experts about LDI now in the UK. But we weren't before, were we? Can I do a shot at the George Munster no mera just killed it?"
