Rest in peace, Mr. Pinsent
Curse of Politics

Corey, I'm a Big Fan of Removing People From Caucus
I'm a big fan of removing people from caucus. I do that's called the Cretchen approach, which was basically innovated. Political parties are private clubs. They're not public institutions. Their membership is determined by the party leadership and is often determined for reasons that are well less than beyond a reasonable doubt. MPs are removed from caucus for many, many reasons. And there's a purpose for that removal. And it's much less than what you'd find in a court of law. Are you talking about the things that the party is talking about? Are you exercising good judgment and discipline? "Are you somebody that we want to be associated with?" he asks.
