Criminal Justice Reform Movement - Is the Crime Bill a Crime Bill?

Some of these new vestiges of the recent criminal justice reform movement are trying to demonize the crime bill from the early nineties. The real poison with that bill was not what many people think, it was the specific allowance within federal criminal procedure for a us Attorney to use the criminal procedure of the criminal process to literally persecute. A lot of inner city and african american advo advocacy groups were heavily in favor of the crime bill back in the early nint astro. i'd love to hear your thoughts onlike my reaction to the crime bill.
