God's Dealings With the Children of Abraham and Solomon

In Genesis 12, god promised abraham that he would not be a blessing to the people of israel, just to his descendants. But i think solomon is also reflecting upon the fact that in exodus 19, god said that he is establishing the israelites as a kingdom of priest and a holy nation. And then you certainly see this happening with prophets like jonah and other prophets who talk to talk to the nations. It wasn't like god all of a sudden decided in the new testament that this is the way things should be. Just what happens it that's that's what began to happen after, after the ministry of christ.
