The Importance of Purpose
It's crazy how these things work out is quite strange, isn't it? Yeah. I feel like I think I've spent a little too much time sometimes just making solo records and I built the body of work that every solo artist builds. What I have found is that I didn't realize how much of a sense of purpose I got from like putting a record into the world and then knowing that it's in the world. It feels precarious, doesn't it, to do the music? You don't really know from day to day whether it's going to go okay or not.
