Todd Haynes' "safe" is one of the films that has so much attention to detail and interesting things that unravel each time you watch it. There's such a huge contingent of people that kind of I don't like a film if it's too depressing or whatever it is so I have all these voices in my head when I'm trying to write those lists for people.
