It's So Easy to Outsource Your Conscience

How many of us just find some one else to outsource our thinking too, and then wash our hands of the process of ever using our brains to think? Kant says that people love to talk about how much they love freedom. But this immaturity, this extension of childhood, this looking to others for your own thoughts, it's a cage that we trap ourselves in. It's a self imposed cage where you never think for yourself. We are constantly at the mercy of whatever people you've arbitrarily decided to believe at the time.
