You Shouldn't Have Goals You Should Have Systems
There's this quote that I've internalized it over the last half like five six years and it's become part of everything that I do so what it says is that you should not have goals you should have systems. The idea being that there are certain things you like to do and those are the things that you derive your joy from. In pursuit of those things every time you do them you are happy because they're fun for you or they fulfill you in some way. By doing that again and again and again inevitably you will reach a good destination but having only the destination in mind keeps you from enjoying this path to the destinationYeah I'm a big fan of James K I think he nails
