The word panegemic itself did feel apocalyptic, because we hadn't experienced anything ane never in my lifetime. People were drawing parallels to 19 18 spanish fluw and i think you see the same thing clang out with climate change. The idea that we were kind of at the end of human progress, a that we had made it and that has opened this store, for better or for worse.
