The Role of Epigenetics in ADHD

In children, depression is not easily identified by parents. So why are female patients who have ADHD 2.5 times at a higher risk for major depression? And I think it's because women are diagnosed later. It's because the women don't have so much hyperactivity or impulsivity or girls don't have that. They're undiagnosed. And so they are diagnosed later and many times what we see is they are diagnosed in college. We had a really bad case yesterday of a teacher devaluing this poor kid who's 80 or so years old. But I think this needs to be researched more.
