We live in such a huge sonic world, how does our brain differentiate between the sounds that are important and which are not? So this is something that we learn overtime. And i truly believe that part of the reason, as a society, we seem to become, to be becoming increasingly ous and stressed and anxious,. m i think in part it has to do with the fact that there is so much unwonted, unnecessary, often sound.
