Jim Baker and Tammy Faye Baker

1987 would prove to be the high point for Jim and Tammy Baker's empire of you know whatever you want to call it. That year opened with PTL breaking ground on the Crystal Palace Ministry Center. The palace itself was a gargantuan glass structure 916 feet long and 420 feet wide. It would have a 300 seat auditorium and a 5000 seat TV studio.
