There are lots of little ways in which o the government is signalling that it's not terribly concerned about inequality any more. Even when you look at the national insurance, which was briefed out beforehand, so if you're on 15 thousand pounds a year, you'll save like 30 quid. So it kind of proportionately benefits richer people more. The bank of england has even said, we need fewer people in work. We have the highest or the lowest level of unemployment in forty eight years. We do not need people going out and getting more jobs.
