The China Story and the Eurozone Economic Update
China's urban unemployment rate stood at 5.2% in June which represents one of their lowest levels recorded in 16 months. The unemployment rate for the population aged 25 to 59 also remains steady at a rating of 4.1%. Those aged 16 to 24 saw a slight increase reaching a new record peak of 21.3%, compared to 20.8% in May. Australia is one of those nations who imports a lot of goods out of China, clothing, electrical etc. That actually is a good story for our inflation numbers back here in Australia.
