Is Animal Protein Superior to Plant-Based Protein?

I was getting about 45 or 50% of my protein from whey for a good, at least a month before I started having some GI issues with it. And that's probably more than most patients are going to do, honestly, 50% in whey. So this is a pretty important distinction for us to draw. The amino acid, yeah, the amino acid profile, essentially. If your protein intake is lower, let's say around 60, 75 grams per day, then the quality matters and that's where you'd want to optimize for animal-based.
