Heads up heads down mode is something that i first heard from my friend gerad kleinert. He was talking about it in the context of the a typical entrapenereal ailment of shiny objects indrome, where you constantly keep getting distracted by a new thing. And he said: "You need to have both heads up and heads down mode" It's almost like chaos theory, right in the micro it can apply to your week, that you want to have heads up manager time and headsdown maker time.
