Theological Determinism and the Secondary Causal Account of Prayer
Petitionary prayer should give some explanation of the fact that prayer has certain effects on the person praying. Another intuition that i think a lot of people have is that god does some things precisely because we pray for them. What i mean by this is that ther seems to be a causal relationship between prayers, are our prayers and god's actions in the world.
