How to Avoid Using Click Recorder Apps

The first project I ever worked on out of university that was testing the avionics for a helicopter and a neighboring team actually built a hilariously misengineered contraption, a literal clicking robot. Those sound like a great idea and a simple way of writing tests or creating tests. But they are extremely brittle. So you will be so brittle and you'll be re recording them so often and there'll be so much false false negative tests that it ends up not being worth it. The other is maybe a bit of a war story.
