The Importance of Free Will in Moral Responsibility

Zraya: Do you think there are any other things that matter to us that depend on free will? I've only mentioned things like creativity and love. Zraya: There are lots of concepts that require or assume a certain kind of freedom. And so what I see myself doing is in questioning the connection between free will and moral obligation. As we kind of add every moral concept to that conversation, the stakes go up,. So yeah, I think that by raising the stakes in these debates, it makes it so that the skeptic really can't say much, or they can't make the claim that we don't have free will.
