The Role of Single Cell Gene Expression in CML Response
Researchers have developed new hypotheses as to how TKI sensitivity could be predetermined, either by leukemic stem cell fate decisions or by interactions between NK cells and hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells. The researchers show the potential for detecting predictive signatures using antibody panels and flow cytometry. David M. Ross of the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute in Adelaide says these single cells can tell multiple tales in CML.
