The Differential Effects of SAA on Synucleinopathies
The specificity for healthy controls was about 96%. So 4% of cases were positive. And we also know that the specificity among sweds, and these are people that have mild Parkinsonian signs generally, sort of borderline Parkinsonism. The thing that's interesting about them is that if you look at the healthy controls carefully in our study, you can see that I think about 5% of the normosmic health controls were positive. It may indicate that SAA positivity is substantially more common than Parkinson's disease. But it's an area which probably matters follow up in population studies.
