Unearned Suffering Is Redemptive
The crime of crisis is the biggest crisis humanity has ever faced. I wouldn't want to think that we are going down to some sort of a cold war, and I'm sure no one is interested in that. Islam does not subjugate women and does not hold them back. If we can't prevent these crimes, the least we can do is try to punish them. The idea that unearned suffering is redemptive comes from both Jesus and Gandhi.
