Evergrand Is in Debt, but Who Do They Owe Money To?
Evergrand has a total of 300 billion in liabilities. They owe money to chinese banks, overseas investors and suppliers. And they also owe money to normal people who bought unfinished apartments but haven't received them. The first thing they did was borrow money really aggressively when the property market was doing well. Now that it's slowing down, their borrowing is not going as well.
