Is the Kremlin Scared the Most by Russian Protests?
Made of Russia has seen significant protests nationwide. The Navalny movement has certainly generated them. There have been prior rounds of anti-government protests. I'm not sure I've seen ones on this scale that have involved so many people so personally threatened by a specific government policy. Is this different in kind in your judgment from Russian protest movements of the past? Or is it just kind of the same sort of thing and on a scale that's very handleable by the repressive apparatus of the Putin government?
