Kissinger and Nixon's Obsession With Cambodia
Kissinger and Nixon were obsessed with Cambodia in the early 1960s. They believed it was a staging ground for attacks on US troops within Vietnam. Both sides of the war were using Cambodia one way or another, he says. All they really did was kill large numbers of Cambodians and destabilize the country to such an extent that it led to the Khmer Rouge.
