Daniel Toma: I've been trying to read quite a bit of Stephen Talbot, who you introduced me to. So he's- I just haven't written up in an early word doc, and it's not too long ago, folks. He says this, he says, the common person in the academic were of one mind and were reciprocally dependent on each other. The philosopher needed common experience as the basis of thought, and the common man needed philosophy for the refinement and clarification of his thinking.
