How to Deal With Issues Coming Off Bypass
There are I would say five main things that we see commonly coming off bypass most often When we come off bypass and our mean arterial pressure is low It's because we're under filled. And effectively block off your cardiac output. We need to get caught up on volume. The last thing that we sometimes see is vasoplegia Cardiac surgery itself as well as the the cardiopulmonary bypass machine creates a huge inflammatory response in some patients. So they can be very um kind of we call it leaky. They're just vasoplegic.
