Do Not Swing, Don't Swing

If you have a demonstrated tendency of never swinging, well, then pitchers are just gonna pour it in there and you're gonna have a lot of called strikes. And suddenly it's kind of a game theory thing where it won't be as advantageous to take pitches anymore because a lot of them will be called strikes on you. No matter what the rules are, no matter what they are, there's gonna be stuff on the margins that teams are thinking about when it comes to what guys should be doing at the plate. Some of those are gonna be like, do less of the thing everyone likes to see you do.
