I was expecting some sort of Disney spectacular, beautiful ball, like literally a ball. I think I wasn't used to the dirt and the ugliness and the danger. It wasn't like we were well off in Korea, but we weren't poor. And also as a child, I didn't ever think about money because I had everything that I needed.
