The Prescriptions of Liberalism

John Avlon: The idea of liberalism is very much by partisan concept. We're seeking strong conservative construct and I think you talk again about classical liberalism that that itself a sort of conservative approach there but also particularly in the last 30 or 40 years what sometimes called neoliberalism. He says Reagan and Thatcher's reforms actually caused tremendous unleashing of economic potential which clearly saw with a significant acceleration of growth in the 80s and 90s in the United States and elsewhere.
