Shankaracharya composed this commentary on the Brahman's sutra. He was one of his major tasks and trusted to him by his guru, Govindapada. Vyasa being immortal, he got word that a young kid is composing a commentary on my sutras. So he decided to check him out and see whether this person,. this Shankaracharya is writing a correct commentary on his Brahman s Sutras. The story has multiple versions; if you have heard another version don't worry. All of them are nice and they are entertaining.
Adhyasa Bhashya is Adi Shankara’s introduction to the Brahma Sutras. Swami Sarvapriyananda gives a brief overview of this commentary, over three sessions.
