I'll Change Your Name, God

In the name Israel is an invitation. Will Jacob keep striving with God in self-reliance? Or will he finally surrender and trust in God to strive on his behalf going forward? The heel-grabber makes one final attempt to balance the scales and he asks his victor's name. He skirts the question, why do you want my name? And then he blesses Jacob not on Jacob's terms, but on God's terms.
