There's not as much research where we have two groups of folks doing a longitudinal training intervention. There are also some very direct mechanisms by which lack of sleep could impair hypertrophy. You know, it's easy enough to get people in the lab and say, hey, you're going to have one or two or three crappy nights of sleep. But when it comes to multiple week protocols, that's a very, very challenging thing to do.
